Meet The Team

RAY TAYLOR
Managing Director

In 1975, after spotting a niche in the Rubber market, Ray set up the company alongside his wife, Sue. From operating out of a small rented premises, he’s grown the company into a large 20,000 square manufacturing operation in Warrington.

In 1990, Ray successfully added the largest PVC strip curtain range in Europe and the company has since gone from strength to strength. Ray is now partially retired, however, he remains the Managing Director of the company, offering strategic and financial advice and support to our current Director.

Sue Taylor
Company Secretary

Alongside her husband, Sue set the company up in 1975, providing all secretarial, administrative, office and financial duties that are required for setting up and running a small business. As the company grew, these roles were handed over to the business team, which Sue successfully managed for over 30 years. Sue is now retired, however, she maintains an active interest as company secretary.

Sue is a successful fundraiser for Barnardo’s and the company continue to support Barnardo’s as our chosen charity. If you would like more information on the work we do with Barnardo’s, please contact us or visit Barnardo’s professional fundraising page.

Phillipa Taylor
Company Director

Phillipa joined the family business in 2007, after studying Business science at Cardiff University, travelling solo around the world and spending 8 years working in financial management and project management within London, deploying various multi-million pound projects.

She joined the company as Director and has successfully grown the company year on year. With a quick wit, impressive bag of tricks and endless patience (so she says), she’s the one we rely on to prevent or solve nearly any problem.

Paul Scales
Warehouse and Project Manager

Paul has been with the company for over 15 years, he currently runs the warehouse and manages product development. Paul has a wealth of experience in the industry, spending all of his working life in the rubber game, there’s little he doesn’t know about our products.

In his spare time, you will find Paul pottering in his garden, watching motorsports or working with and supporting an impressive list of charities. Paul and his family are extensive campaigners for Meningitis Trust, Kabuki Research and the Committee of Cotebrook.

For Kabuki research alone Paul and his wife have raised over £130,000 for research into the paediatric congenital disorders.

Jenny Critchley
Account Manager and Team Leader

Jenny joined our team in 2013, after spending the previous 15 years in the engineering trade. Although she had limited experience in the PVC industry, she was able to quickly develop and within 2 years, she became account manager and team leader.

Jenny is the person we all rely on and the team leader you want around when the pressure is on. She works best under the gun and always works to make sure that our estimating team have extensive product knowledge, excellent customer service abilities and works to make sure that we have a solution to your requirement.

She enjoys escaping on a Friday night to have a much deserved rest and to spend time with her family and friends. If she’s not at work you’re likely to find her tucked up with a book or watching a movie with a snake or lizard on her lap!

Jackie Fisher
Office Manager

Jackie joined the team in 2016 as our office manager. She has the job of dealing with all post-sale customer accounts and supplier management, along with tasks to keep our office running smoothly. Our office can be a very busy place, it’s constantly buzzing with orders and enquiries on our very large PVC product range, so it takes an organised and efficient office manager to keep everything under control.

In her spare time, Jackie volunteers as a Beaver Scout leader, running weekly meetings and is actively involved in her son’s football team.

Ashleigh Lilly
Digital Marketing Executive

Ashleigh joined the team in 2016 as our digital marketing executive. She manages all things digital for the company, making sure that the business stands out in a busy marketplace, offering alternative channels for our customers to access free and valuable PVC information and ensuring that our business has a solid digital footprint.

Ashleigh joined the team not long after graduating with a degree in Media and Communications and is currently undertaking her Masters.
